What Is A Drone Utility Survey?

A Drone Utility Survey is the inspection of a building, utility or service to identify if any repair or maintenance work needs to be done – whilst also ensuring that these services are not interrupted or delayed. 

From busy stretches of motorway to road and railway services – our highly experienced pilots can safely survey and capture high-resolution imagery and data for any property or infrastructure project throughout the UK. 

Our drones are capable of capturing 4K video, high-quality photographic images, thermal images and more – all of which can be stored and analysed by utility and infrastructure experts. These images can also be reused for comparison inspections in the future.

The Benefits Of An Asset Inspection Survey Via Drone?

Previously, it was difficult to inspect power lines or survey the tracks of a railway without causing disruption, furthermore, it was also likely that third-party tools, like crane lifts, would have been needed to gain vantage of the area. 

Drones allow for the streamlining of data and image collection – especially in the instance of power lines which are often spread out across hundreds of miles of inaccessible or harsh terrain.
